Morrisania Band is a powerhouse R&B soul collective and a celebrated fixture of the New York City music scene. A veteran participant of Make Music New York since 2018, the band is led by founder Elissa Carmona, the 2X “Best Singer from the Bronx” (2024, 2025). Voted “Best Cover Band” in the Bronx for three years (2022, 2023, 2025), Morrisania Band delivers high-energy performances of classic soul, funk, and rock with a mission of “Culture as Medicine”. Beyond the stage, the collective uses its platform to drive social impact, supporting causes like gun violence awareness and sickle cell disease.
