Adopt-A-Tree Project! Hamilton Heights Business Alliance

WHAT IS THE ADOPT-A-TREEBED PROJECT? Hamilton Heights Business Alliance kicks off spring with an important project for increasing the beauty of Amsterdam Ave. With funding from its NYC SBS merchant organizing grant, the Alliance will pilot an “ADOPT-A-TREEBED” project with neighborhood businesses. During May-June, up to 20 tree beds in front of local businesses, will receive a free makeover! How to Participate: Participating business owners commit to maintaining their storefront tree bed by removing trash and watering spring and summer flower and plants. “Adopt-A-Treebed” businesses can show off their contributions to the community with an in-ground sign with your BUSINESS NAME AND LOGO. Eligibility: This Spring 2025, Adopt-A-Treebed project is available to storefront business owners located on Amsterdam Ave between 135th-155th Street and Hamilton Pl between 142nd & 144th St. The number of treebeds is limited due to funding – please respond ASAP! 1. CLEAN UP TREEBEDS.  Sat. April 26, 2025. 10am-3pm. Hamilton Heights Clean+Green event. Partners: Volunteers, Brotherhood Sister-Sol, Harlem One Stop, The Trash Project , Friends of St. Nicholas Park.
