Much more than meets the eye. This Northern Italian spot looks tiny from the outside but extends far back and below street level, providing comfy nooks, party seating, and a performance space where free jazz concerts happen on Sundays, 5-6 pm. (One of the owners is a world-touring jazz musician, and he and friends often play there.) The food is authentic and house-made. Cozy bar and a great wine list. Happy Hour 4-7PM.
