Initiated in 1972 and known as New York City's "Woodstock of the Spoken Word," the Spring Poetry Festival brings to the stage New York City public school students, college students, CCNY faculty and alumni, and guest artists of every poetic stripe, all reading their own work.
MSM's Jazz Orchestra is a big band, featuring students and alumni arrangements, and guest soloists. This concert will be held in the stunning art deco Neidorff-Karpati Hall. Matt Holman (MM ’10, DMA ’18) is director. Featuring Ingrid Jensen, trumpet and Christine Jensen, alto saxophone.
